Group Tours at BelleWood Acres

Private tours of BelleWood are welcome, educational and entertaining. We love to tell the story of our farm to interested guests. Geared to the age of your group, our tours are perfect for seniors, day cares, school field trips, scouts and church groups.

Fall is a great time to tour the farm, but expand your horizons and consider a visit during any time of year. BelleWood is a working farm with activity every day. Tours are available year round.. Watch our "UpComing News and Events" page for current farm activities.

Along with our enormous orchard, BelleWood Acres has plenty of other attractions for school field trips, scout groups and other private groups to enjoy.

Description

 

 

Ride the Apple Bin Express or a caravan of orchard carts through the orchard. We make several stops to share the seasons in the orchard, pollination, pest control, water-use and harvest. Students get a real farm experience as they pick their own apple and tour the packing barn where the apples are being processed for delivery to the market. We end the tour with a tasting of several different apple varieties, discussing their origin and uses, a glass of cider and a tasting of other BelleWood farm products.

Tour the Orchard, Packing Shed, Cider Room and Bakery. Become part of the farm with a ride through the orchard while you learn about seasons in the orchard, pollination, pest control, water-use and harvesting. Join the crew and harvest your own apple followed with a stop at the packing barn for a discussion about distribution. After a trip through the cider line and bakery, we end the tour with a tasting of BelleWood apples and other farm fresh products. A stop by the Distillery is optional.

delicious BelleWood apples into hand-crafted spirits. Learn about our
agricultural practices, cider making and the distillation process.
Includes many samples and a private tasting.”

Tour the distillery, take a train ride to pick your own apples or hold a private spirit tasting and create a signature cocktail. The possibilities are endless.
