Bellewood Farms is first and foremost a family-operated apple farm committed to growing and producing high quality local fruit for our community. Our aim is to support sustainable agriculture, cultivate relationships, and bring delight to our customers, suppliers, employees, and our community.
The orchard itself was planted in the spring of 1996 by the Belisle family with the goal of growing the best apples in Whatcom County. There are 31 acres of high-density orchard, home to approximately 25,000 trees and 21 different apple varieties, including the beloved Honeycrisp. Our total farm size is 62 acres which includes our UPICK apple orchard, pumpkin patch, corn maze, farm store/cafe, and award winning distillery. The Abel family took over operations of Bellewood in the Fall of 2018 when they moved up from Seattle to pursue their dream of running a farm and raising their kids on the land. Our greatest pleasure is being able to feed and nourish others and providing a space that cultivates connection and meaningful relationships.
Thank you so much for supporting us and supporting local farms. We can't wait to meet you!
