Summer and Fall 2019 JOB OPENINGS

 1.) Bellingham Farmers Market Rep

Part-time:  Saturdays from 7am-4pm (Sept-late Dec)

Bellewood Farms is looking for an individual to help represent our apples and apple products at the Bellingham Farmer Market 2-3 Saturdays a month from September through the end of December. This position pays $13.00/hr.  With set up and break down this is an 8 hr day. Knowledge and passion for sustainable agriculture is helpful. A positive, go-getter attitude is also crucial as we are all about bringing delight to our customers and providing a high quality product as well as experience. Must be able to lift 50lbs and have great attention to detail. Ability to multitask is a must as you will be talking with customers, handling money, replenishing products, cleaning, etc...Crash course of the farm history and operation will also be provided.

 2.) Various Weekend Jobs this Fall

 Part-time:  Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30am-5:30pm (September and October)

Bellewood Farms is looking to hire hard working students to help operate our weekend harvest festivities and bring delight to customers. Need to commit to Saturdays and Sundays in September and October from 9:30-5:30. New Hire Training will take place on August 29th at 3:30pm. Payment is $13/hr. We value kind, passionate, optimistic, motivated, personable, dependable, and considerate employees who are committed to providing quality service and a delightful experience to our customers. Positions include ticket booth reps, concession stand reps, UPICK station reps, pumpkin weighers, and any and all outside help with the corn maze, parking, and grounds maintenance. No experience necessary; however, a desire to learn, work hard, and represent our farm in a way that brings joy and delight to customers is a MUST.

 3.) Cafe Server & Farm Store Clerk

 Part-Time and Seasonal opportunities available NOW

 Bellewood Farms is looking to hire servers and store clerks for our Cafe and Farm Store. Experience multitasking, handling money, and working in customer service a major PLUS. A desire to learn, work hard, and represent our farm in a way that brings joy and delight to customers is an absolute MUST.

4.) Farm Tour Guide  

 Part-Time:  Weekdays M-F -  9:30am - 3:30pm / Flexible on Days

 Bellewood Farms is looking for an individual to help give farm tours to students during the September-October harvest season. This position pays $13.00/hr (negotiable). Tours run daily during the week at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm and typically include preschool, elementary, homeschool, and private academic groups ranging anywhere from 10-60 people. A passion for educating and teaching students about sustainable agriculture, apple farming, salmon safety, and apple marketing is important.  A positive, go-getter attitude is also crucial as we are all about bringing delight to our customers and providing a high quality product and experience. Must be able to memorize facts and history about the farm and share with 10-60 little kids and their parents. Ability to multitask is a must as you will be talking, hopping on and off a bin train, giving out samples, answering questions, etc...We are hoping to find someone who is passionate about farming and educating young people on the importance of knowing where their food comes from.
